Help Needed on Wedding Card - Take 2

Hi Everyone!

I am trying to make this wedding card using the SU To Have and To Hold stamp set and I'm stuck.

The card stock is Bashful Blue and Whisper White and I have heat embossed the sentiment in white. It's difficult to see but I've also heat embossed the pair of hearts from the stamp set randomly on the background in white and started to put some glitter on the gown. I'm thinking of adding more glitter to the gown but it still seems to be lacking something. I'm also wondering if the sentiment pops enough.

Thanks in advance for your always-helpful comments!

UPDATED 04/30/08:

Sorry that I seemd to have dropped off the face of the earth but as I'm sure you all find...there are just not enough hours in the day. This is a just-because card and not a I-need-it-now card so it fell to the bottom of the heap. I took your advice on the ribbon and this is the first version.

And Jolie, I like your idea of taking the couple off entirely. I'll post it when I do have time to make it.

Thanks to everyone! (And keep your comments coming if you see something on this card that you would add or change!).

Every eye sees things diferently, I think it is lovely and elegant just the way it is. Love the elegant simplicity of it.

It is very pretty! I might try adding a tiny strip of ribbon, but I too love the simplicity.

I think it needs a touch of white organza ribbon- if you were going to add anything to it. I like the simplicity though.

I'll jump on the simplicity bandwagon, too! It really is lovely. But since you asked ...

Since it is a wedding card, I'd straighten the sentiment instead of slanting it. And of course, I love the idea of white satin (or maybe organdy) ribbon somewhere ... like under the straightened sentiment with a nice tiny knot on the right side. Tie it only around the top white layer, or maybe the top white + blue, but not the whole card front. We all know *I* would do that, but for you it is just a suggestion. ;-) Or you could go crazy and leave the sentiment on an angle and still tie the ribbon horizontal.

And if you choose to do nothing it is still a lovely card! But if you do change it up a bit, please show us what you've done!

What a beautiful card - I would try straigtening the sentiment a little (I don't mind the angle, it's just a little too much however) and adding a white organza ribbon under the sentiment. If you do make a change, please upload so we can see it.

Afraid to say that I agree with everyone else... I really like it the way it is but I do think a bit of ribbon would finish it nicely

Personally I would take the couple out and go with your layering theme.
Layer the sentiment and center it and then it would be done.

It is beautiful! I was thinking a touch of ribbon, a sheer ribbon, or yes, more glitter on the dress! I love the elegant clean look! Great job!

That is quite a cute card. Thanks for the heads up about the border punch.

I really like the ribbon (surprise!) ... it adds just enough, I think. And personally I like the couple on the card. It might look empty without it.

I agree with Jolie, however, if only the sentiment and ribbon are
to remain on the card, I would cuttlebug a design on your page and
leave it like
