This project has a ton of detail work and

I do think it's beautiful but it still needs something to finishi it off...I made it long ago but was not impressed with the results so I put it away and it has been sitting idle with no home to give it love...So sad!

Give me some ideas if you will...TIA

It is so pretty the way it is, the only thing I can think of is maybe a mat behind it so it will stand out somewhat.

I like it thew way it is but I like Flossie's idea of a mat.

I like the diea of a mat, also. Hey, to save yourself some time, why not trim about 1/4 inch off the top and side of the card and mount the back of it on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of c/s the color that you would have used for a mat. (Did that make sense?) That gives it color but leave the card intact. If I can dig up one I've done I'll link to it from here.

BTW, nice card! I cannot pull off "busy" like that. ;-)

It's gorgeous! I'm not sure what you could add to it....hmmmm, maybe some thin organdy ribbon? It's so pretty though, I don't think it needs it.

Is this a card or an altered book/notepad cover or an album cover? I can see this as a beautiful album cover. It's gorgeous and almost too gorgeous to be a card that will only be viewed once. Might you like to mat it and frame it?

If you really want to make it into a card, I think that you might feel it finished once you add a sentiment. Where? Good question. Maybe on the diagonal or in the upper right-hand corner.

Looking forward to seeing the end result!

This is gorgeous; so much detailed work, but you are right - it does need that little something extra.

If this is a journal then how about a vintage key or perhaps a cord down the left side with either a tassel or some beads.

I think it needs more definition between the blue part and the white part. A dark colored torn strip or a ribbon maybe?

I like the idea of something dangling, like a key. How about adding a strap and lock so it looks like a diary, with the lock placed 2/3 of the way from the top and on the seam between the two background colors?

This is really pretty. Do you see
the loopy scroll on the right hand side of this card like the flying of the butterfly. Perhaps using a sentiment that scrolls up the card
would be all you need to finish it,
along with a coloured matte.
