Help Me Help Me Help Me She cried...

Isn't this a line in a kids song? Anyways, I need help. I cannot figure out how to finish this card. I'm not totally enamoured with the large flower to start with. Not sure if it is the coloring or what.

suggestions?

Um, well, you know, maybe some ... no, no, I'm not going to say it!

What about having some contrast with the flower? Maybe adding a white Pretties flower behind the red one? Or maybe some brads along the left side of the layer?

I've actually done a card very similar to this one with the bleached flowers and everything. Let me go see what I did.

I like the clean lines on the card. I like the flower too but it doesn't pop. I like the layered panel but maybe it should be a different color than the focal flower.

And I may be bucking popular opinion- I do NOT think that your card needs ribbon ;)

Okay, okay, how about a couple of green leaves behind the flower to set it off a little more? Kinda like you did in your last card?

I like Leslie's idea about the green leaves. The contrasting color will help pop the flower a bit.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I love what you've got going on here! To make the flower pop a little more you could stick it on some black paper and just trim it out leaving a tiny black edge all the way around. Some black ribbon too?
