{What do you think? }

Good morning everyone. My name is Tracy and thanks to my friend Nancy...I found this great site. I know for one that there is always that card that you just get stuck on and need some expert advise ;0) So here is mine. I have not actually posted this one on my blog yet...cause it needs something. Maybe I should have made the base card bigger? What do you think? Honestly!

I am not ignoring you ... I am stumped as you are! Still thinking, in between working ...;-)

Any card that features a moose is a good card! Seriously, I like how you picked up the colors in the DP in the sweater and gift.

I would prefer a plain red ribbon though. It is too busy with the patterns running in 2 directions.

Okay, now I am in a rut. I was about to suggest you tie the ribbon in a knot on the left side of the image instead of leaving it flat. Then maybe a small sentiment in a small oval on the bottom right?

[If you all follow this plan, then all your cards will look like mine! Aaaugh!]

Yeah, I see what you mean with the plain versus patterned ribbon. Do you think the knot would be too much?

To knot or not to knot, that is the question. Hmm... I don't know, I like it either way.

But I think it should have some sort of sentiment, don't you?

and I think Heather is bias, because she's a Moose-lover... haha... just teasing, girl. ;P

I like the card and agree with the plain ribbon versus the patterned, but I wonder if what's bothering you is the moose being off center. I know he's supposed to be because of the plug but it makes my head go sideways a little when I look at him :-)

Maybe the off-centerness of the moose is what made me think about a knot on the left side, sorta for balance.

I think you should send the moose to me, he is too cute. Maybe a long card would carry him better with the image itself off center and then a sentiment off center, but then again, I am an off center kind of person.

This card just needs a tweak, IMHO! I would lower the ribbon to be even with the "horizon" line on the image and then perhaps add a circle sentiment.

Thanks for the input guys! I think I will play with it tonight and see what I can come up with. :0)

This is such a hard stamp to work with IMHO! It is so gigantic that there isn't much breathing room on the edges of the card...good luck Tracy!

What a cute moose! I love the suggestion for adding a circle sentiment of some type. I agree with you that maybe the main panel is a bit too big, but without redoing it, maybe you could compensate that feeling by adding a photo corner punch or two... possibly in a solid paper (maybe white- I'd have to go back and look) so it doesn't fight with the patterns or add any more visually clutter. KNIM?

Your coloring is great, by the way!

Oops... meant to say "KWIM" not "KNIM". Of course you don't know what I mean when I say "KNIM?"! DUH!

I like the photo corner idea! Okay, forget the knot. ;-)

I'm a busy card sorta gal so all the patterns looks wonderful to me. Your coloring is fabulous and the paper is really pretty! Your card is cute the way it is but if you want a change. . .

Maybe shifting the moose to the left a little and tying a bow to the right and tying a small sentiment tag. Me and "busy". . .I just can't help it.

Beautiful job, Tracy!

yup...I agree...my first thought was..perfect! (I think it is soooo cute) but I would add a knot or someting on the left side to give it a bit of dimension.

Me again...what about putting a sentiment in a circle punch and popping it up on the left side...towards the top?

I think this rocks! Super adorable...love the bright colors. It's perfect!
